This interactive poetry map pinpoints reflections, epiphanies, and emotions on specific streets, buildings, and landmarks within New Mexico. Through this poetic cartography, both emerging and established writers layer their voices with the history and cultural vibrancy of the state.

This project, like the state itself, shows a complex and ever-changing set of relationships to our natural and built environment.

Interested participants can contribute by writing original poems about specific locations in New Mexico, responding to previously published work, or attending one of our upcoming workshop sessions.

Please note that our map was hacked in February. The website has been hacked. Several poems had malicious code inserted into the markers. We are working to fix the site and the poems–and get some new poems up soon! In the meantime, please enjoy the poems that are still up.
